Podcasts have increased in popularity over recent years, with around 68 million (or one in four) Americans listening to at least one each month.

Most listeners are aged between 18 and 34 (44%), followed by 35–54 year olds (33%) and over 55 year olds (16%).

Podcasts are a great way to gain inspiration or learn a new technique that will take your business to new heights.

Here are five business podcasts to inspire you next business idea:

1. Entrepreneurs on Fire

   Founded and hosted by John Lee Dumas, Entrepreneurs on Fire features guests who share their ‘a-ha’ moments, their lowest points and what their future holds.

   And with more than 1,900 interviews to listen to, there is plenty of content for budding and established entrepreneurs to learn from.

2. The School of Greatness with Lewis Howes

   Established in 2013 by The New York Times best-selling author and former professional athlete Lewis Howes, The School of Greatness helps individuals find ways to unlock their own greatness.

   It features inspiring stories from business people, athletes and celebrities.

3. HBR IdeaCast

   Harvard Business Review’s HBR IdeaCast is a weekly podcast hosted by the magazine’s executive editor Sarah Green Carmichael.
