As an independent thinker with a collaborative personality, Bernard Campbell has significant experience in marketing and strategy issues, a deep passion for cars, and an overriding goal to make the world a better place through clean energy transportation.
His latest venture – Orion Aeromotive – is a coach builder of high-performance hyper cars. The first car is now being produced and will integrate a jetpack in the boot of the car that can be deployed to allow the driver to fly away – perhaps fulfilling a lifelong dream of theirs. In addition, the new technology is clean and climate friendly.
“I grew up in Providence, Rhode Island, US, and lived there until I went to school in Boston where I eventually graduated from Harvard University,” Campbell says. “I’ve spent most of my life in the car business and have a child’s excitement for cars combined with a passion for a cleaner world.”
During the next 12 months, the Orion Aeromotive team will be building its first car to be debuted in August 2023 at an event at Pebble Beach, California. The exciting accumulation of their work will be the moment when a team member emerges from the car, straps on the jet pack and flies away over the Pacific Ocean in a grand style.
