CEO of Digital Wine Ventures (ASX: DW8), Dean Taylor is a highly regarded wine technology entrepreneur, with seven successful online wine ventures under his belt.
Named one of the 50 Stars of Wine and TOP 50 People in Ecommerce, Dean’s first venture Wine Ark – an off-site climate-controlled storage for wine collectors – sold for $8.5m. He later launched Wine Exchange an online trading platform; The Cellar Club, a premium wine club and Crackawines.com.au – an online marketplace that allowed wineries to sell direct-to-consumer.
Dean’s latest venture WINEDEPOT is set to disrupt the Australian wine industry, partnering with Australia Post, to provide an online end-to-end trading and logistics solution for Australia’s $6 billion wine industry.
Dean’s vision for DW8 is to build a diversified portfolio of disruptive technology businesses servicing the $300 billion global wine and beverage industry.
