Jeni Port is a Melbourne-based wine writer, author and judge. She writes for Australia’s leading wine magazines including Gourmet Traveller WINE magazine, Winestate, Wine Selector magazine, Halliday Wine magazine and, in Europe for Meininger’s Wine Business International magazine.
She regularly judges wine in Australia and Europe, is the deputy-chair of the Australian Wine List of the Year Awards/China Wine List of the Year Awards, and is a founding board member of the Australian Women In Wine Awards and, this year becomes the newest team member of the Halliday Companion Tasting Panel.
In 2018 she was named Legend of the Vine by Wine Communicators of Australia.
