Born in Brazil, Julio De Laffitte arrived in Australia with no English, no knowledge of the Australian business culture, no business contacts and no starting capital. However, he did bring with him a rich business heritage and personal history of entrepreneurialism – in his late teens Julio had established several enterprises in Rio Di Janeiro including a clothing manufacturer and food retail business. Within seven years of living in Australia Julio had mastered the language, attained a commerce degree and diploma in financial planning and built substantial business interests with an enviable net worth.
Now Julio is a multimillionaire, desperate to raise the financial intelligence of Australians and New Zealanders. He teaches the same strategies he used to create his desirable property portfolio. Julio is a serial entrepreneur with multiple business and initiatives, the most recent of which – Unstoppables – is dedicated to igniting the entrepreneurial spirit in Australia. In January 2015 he took 106 entrepreneurs to Antarctica for an eight day think tank and epic adventure with this company Unstoppables.
