Major General (Retired) Matt Smith has spent his career rallying teams in some of the highest-pressure environments imaginable and turning strategy into action. From a combat zone to the boardroom, he is known for moving people toward shared goals without relying on rank or authority. Today, after 32 years of service in the United States Army and Army National Guard, he now serves as Executive Director of Veteran Initiatives at Emory University.
