What is intuition?
Intuition is a culmination of experience, instinct and the senses. Intuition includes heightened touch, sight, smell, taste, hearing and feeling.
When you shake someone’s hand when you meet them for the first time you may instinctively sense whether you can trust this person or not. For many people this is a profound feeling. It’s a feeling in your heart and gut that something is wrong.
You may not know exactly why or have any logical reason for feeling that way, but at that very moment, you know to listen to and trust that overwhelming feeling of danger. Conversely it can also be a warm feeling of inner peace and love; knowing that everything is going to be okay.
The science behind intuitive decisions
When bringing on a big new customer, it can all look great financially at first, yet your heart might not have the best feel about them. Connecting with your gut, you may just get a feeling that something is not right.
Science now demonstrates we have more than 100 million neurons in our gut (our second brain) and only 10 million neurons in our head. It’s now time to look at using your heart and gut intelligence to make a more inclusive decision that is best for yourself, your customers and your company. So how do we make better intuitive decisions?
Use the power of your intuition to make better decisions
Albert Einstein said “The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honours the servant and has forgotten the gift.”
Follow this simple process and make better business decisions intuitively.
Close your eyes for one to two minutes.
- Hear, and then let go of your thoughts.
- Allow all your emotions to come forward.
- Release negative emotions down from your body and into the earth.
- Visualise happy times – children, partner, family or animals. Love with all your heart.
- Coming from a happier and more loving place, now confidently make your decision.
Now that you have settled your mind from many negative thoughts and have released your emotions from the pearls fear, you now can come from a more peaceful place towards yourself and others.
This calm and peaceful experience allows you to make much better business decisions. Having a clear mind, and a peaceful heart will allow you to become more intuitive in the workplace that both you and your customers will cherish.
