Bean Media Group is a thriving media company with global headquarters in Sydney, Australia, and offices in New York, Manila, Stockholm, Singapore (and soon to be London), we produce The CEO Magazine; a leading global luxury business magazine.
Due to an internal promotion, we are looking for a multi-tasker with superb writing skills to work across all five editions of The CEO Magazine.
Tasks include: composing interesting and varied questions for interviews; conducting interviews with CEOs and business leaders via phone, email and occasionally in person; writing an eclectic mix of executive interviews from around the globe; and writing well-researched digital articles for theceomagazine.com.
The right candidate will have impeccable grammar and literacy, an eagle eye for errors and be super-organised. They will also have a minimum of one to two years’ paid experience in print magazines. If this sounds like an exciting challenge that you can rise to, we want to hear from you. But first…
Applicants must have:
- Permanent Australian residency
- A university degree in journalism or relevant experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Exceptional writing and grammar
- Excellent proofreading, subediting and fact checking
- Experience in client liaising and interviewing
- Great organisational skills and ability to manage time well
- Ability to work well autonomously and as part of a team to meet deadlines
This full-time role is based in our lively Brookvale office in Sydney. The hours are 8am to 4.30pm to keep your work and home life balanced.
