As Managing Director, Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) at Sophos, John is responsible for overseeing the direction of the local business and spearheading its growth. This involves building and executing appropriate go-to-market strategies that enable the sales team to meet its targets.
John has more than 30 years of experience in the IT industry, having led teams across ANZ and Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ). Before joining Sophos, he spent 12 years at Symantec, working in roles including Channel Sales Manager, ANZ; Managing Director, ANZ; and VP of Channels, APJ. Additionally, John has spent time in senior roles at VMware as Director of Channel Sales, ANZ, and at Forgerock as Senior Vice President, APJ.
