Established in 1889, Snap Franchising has operated under many names and in many categories. Its chameleon-like ability to predict the shifts in the printing, marketing, communications, graphic design, and web-design industries has ensured it continues to lead the market.

“The printing industry is a very interesting industry, and technology is rapidly changing how it looks. From our perspective, we believe local service provision is still the way to go. People still need one-on-one contact for a range of products and services. A manufacturing focus is something that a lot of clients aren’t interested in, so I don’t believe everyone will be in the printing industry as a manufacturer. I think there will be a big shift from a manufacturing industry to a client-relationship industry. Trade manufacturing will also be on the increase” states Stephen.

“We’re one of the biggest print, design, and website companies in the Australian economy, and people need to get their minds around that shift. I think the industry will be a lot more content-driven in the future. Print, in a funny way, is a word that shouldn’t be used to describe all that we do; we’re actually in the marketing and communications industry. Printing is one element of it. But it could be a sign, a PDF, some content, a marketing piece, promotional piece, or an online piece. I think the definition of the industry will change quite rapidly”.
