The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection is setting sail in June this year.

Designed to combine the luxury lifestyle of a stay at a The Ritz-Carlton Hotel with the casual freedom of a opulent yachting holiday, The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection is offering something unique that exemplifies the ultra-luxury lifestyle.

Created by The Ritz-Carlton, part of Marriott International, and maritime expert Douglas Prothero in collaboration with funds managed by Oaktree Capital Management, The Ritz-Carlton will provide luxury hospitality service under a long-term operating agreement. The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection distinguishes Marriott International as the only provider of luxury accommodation on land and at sea.

“The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection will have a distinctive personality and the vessels are sure to be true stand outs in some of the most glamorous ports around the world,” said Herve Humler, President and Chief Operating Officer of The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company. “This unique combination of yachting and cruising will usher in a new way of luxury travel for guests seeking to discover the world in a relaxed, casually elegant and comfortable atmosphere with the highest level of personalised service.”

The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection will offer bespoke voyages on the first of three custom-built yachts in 2020. Most voyages range from seven to ten nights, offering many overnight calls and uniquely curated experiences ashore. Each yacht will feature 149 suites, each with its own private terrace, and accommodate up to 298 guests in a relaxed, casually elegant atmosphere.

The yacht will also feature two 159 square-metre lavish penthouse suites, with modern craftsmanship and interior finishes jointly designed by The Ritz-Carlton and leading Swedish cruise ship design firm, Tillberg Design.

The onboard experience is meant to reflect the sublime comfort and unparalleled level of individualised guest service for which the iconic Ritz-Carlton brand is recognised; a first in the cruise industry.

These exclusive voyages are designed solely for the discerning traveller in the ultra-luxury market.

The starting price for journeys with The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection ranges between US$3,100 to US$10,100 depending on how long the voyage will be and where it will take place. With an inspiring design created by the firm Tillberg Design of Sweden, the ship will have 10 decks and a space ratio of over 89 square feet per person.

Among the culinary adventures, there will be a myriad of high-end options for luxury dining, including a restaurant managed by Sven Elverfeld, the head chef behind three Michelin-starred restaurant Aqua at The Ritz-Carlton in Wolfsburg, Germany.

The hotly anticipated first Ritz-Carlton cruise ship will commence with a week-long cruise sailing from Barcelona to Palma de Mallorca, stopping off in the Balearic Islands.

The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection has also recently announced the exciting possibilities for the 2021 season, which is also open for reservation. It’s a chance for holiday makers to set sail on a luxury voyage with every need anticipated and attended to. The exceptional levels of service most have come to expect from The Ritz-Carlton will also be present within these super ships.

Book yourself in for the luxury voyage of a lifetime, and find yourself pampered and spoiled while sailing the seven seas.
